About Us
Independent Child Advocate/Professional Supervised Visitations/Counseling
As an Independent Child Advocate, I advocate for your child/ren in most cases such as child custody and divorce cases. CAA is structured so that the child's voice is the loudest. In supervised visitation and custody exchange cases, a foundation of trust with each child before providing service is established. I meet with the child/ren until they KNOW they can talk to me and that I will listen. I have been known to role play with the children until they find their voice. Then we practice using their words in a variety of situations. I am the CHILD ADVOCATE in all situations; if a child refuses visitation, supervised or custody exchange, then the visitation does not occur. All of my parents know from the offset that I will heed to the child wishes first and foremost.
Shearrhea Fletcher has a BS in Business Administration and MA in Child Advocacy and Policy degree. She completed her Fellowship at UT Health Science in Houston in LEND program in 2020. She has earned her certification and license as a Christian Counselor and Clinical Christian Therapist from the Board of National Christian Counselors Association. She have volunteered for many non-profit organizations over many years to include Child Advocate, Inc.
